We -Bego, Itsaso, Aitor and Luis- created Jositajosi in October 2008. This crazy adventure was founded originally in the Basque Country, a small region in the north coast of Spain, and our name, jositajosi, means "Sewing & Sewing", the name of a very popular childhood song in Basque.

Aitor and me -Bego- moved to Iceland -yes, that awesome rock in the middle of the Atlantic- in 2010. We're in charge of the design and production of the sleeves and Itsaso and Luis keep helping us to find the best materials in Spain.

We handcraft all our products with a simple process:

1.- We begin selecting the best fabrics and the best providers.

Small example: all our sleeves have a superb quality lining that uses fabrics by Holland & Sherry, probably the provider of the finest cloths in the world.

2.- We work very hard to create the best design.

We've been always fascinated by classic, elegant, timeless, high quality materials, and our customers have told us many times that they love it too. Our all-times best selling product line is the "Winter in Oxford" a really classic herringbone pattern. When we started brainstorming designs & fabrics for our new products, we decided to recover this traditional feeling that only patterns that have been in use literally for centuries can generate.

3.- Finally we sew and produce all the sleeves by hand.

We try to achieve the highest quality (and the longest durability) following artisan methods in our small workshop. We believe you can feel all that attention and effort when you touch the final result.

But nothing of this would be possible without the two materials that you can't buy: passion and love.
